Meet Angie
Angie is an award-winning photographer who discovered her love for the outdoors as a teenager shortly after her family moved to Lake Tahoe. Her passion is landscape photography, which she broadened after photographing birds for many years, and she’s realized she is definitely a bird watcher too.
Intrigued by so many different kinds of birds, in January 2021, she started counting her bird species, and as of April 2024, she is at 350 different species.
Angie is a graduate of New York Institute of Photography and has a Masters degree from PPA (Professional Photographers of America)

William has been professionally photographing for over 30 years. His first experience was at 6 years old helping his father develop film in a makeshift darkroom in their kitchen. By 9 years old, he had his own darkroom and photographed constantly. He started his professional career doing portrait photography, then weddings, and eventually encompassing editorial, commercial, corporate, event, and stock photography. His photographs have been used for textbooks, magazines, advertisements, and wall art. He has photographed from mountaintops, 1/2 a mile underground in cavernous salt mines underneath glacial lakes, on volcanic islands, and in lush rainforest jungles. He regularly photographed for the National Forest Service in the Finger Lakes of New York, where he was born, raised, and spent decades as an adult. While in the Finger Lakes, he established a training facility for photographers, teaching and mentoring numerous classes and workshops to beginners through seasoned professionals. He enjoys landscape and nature/wildlife photography the most, but any day with a camera is a good day. He gets fulfillment from passing on knowledge of photography and is an active tutor and mentor for those wanting to learn about lighting, staging, and photo editing. As a graduate of North Country Community College in Saranac Lake, NY, with a degree in Wilderness Recreation and Outdoor Leadership, being outdoors is second nature to him. He taught for many years at an outdoor education center in North Adams, Massachusetts, running environmental education programs along with leadership and high adventure trips in mountains and outdoor areas of Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York.
