Capture the Future: Support Youth Photography Classes
DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY FOR YOUTH 10–17 years of age
Just imagine a world where the youth are empowered not by TV, video games, and phones but by the beauty of the world around them. A world where students from 10 to 17 years old can escape the digital diversion and immerse themselves in nature, armed not with a cell phone but with a camera that captures moments, stories, and dreams. This vision is at the heart of our Youth Photography Classes, an initiative designed to inspire, educate, and uplift young minds through the art and discipline of photography.
This is a program designed for youth ages 10 to 17 years old. We will explore a variety of ranches and parks in the wonderful state of Texas to learn the fundamentals of digital photography, covering composition techniques, editing, and lens usage. We will have cameras for use by the students in the event they do not have one.
Where will the classes take place?
Our venue will be located at the Rob and Bessie Wildlife Foundations. Workshops will include food, a camera if needed, and qualified instructors. All staff will have criminal background checks done before participating with our youth.
WHAT WILL BE TAUGHT TO THE STUDENTS?
They will learn the basics of photography, mastering exposure, editing their images, and experimenting with different compositions and subjects. This hands-on learning experience will use engaging outdoor activities.
